Hi, I’m Shefali.

I’m a physician from India with an evolving passion for women’s health and a focused interest in OB-GYN. I studied at the University of Southern California, where my clinical knowledge deepened alongside a deeper understanding of what it means to care — not just treat. My experience spans countries, cultures, and clinics — having lived, studied, and worked in both India and the United States, I bring a hybrid lens to medicine: one that’s evidence-based, but also deeply human.

I’m not just a doctor—I’m also a public health voice.

My journey has taken me through medical textbooks and public health programs, hospital rounds and policy reports. I’ve learned that the body is never separate from the world it lives in. That’s why I blend clinical care with community insight, aiming not just to treat—but to transform how women understand their health.

From PCOS and fertility to vaccines and stigma, I look at women’s health through two lenses:

• The Physician: Trained to understand and treat
• The Public Health Practitioner: Trained to connect patterns, policies, and prevention

This dual vision powers every blog I write, every story I share, and every consultation I hold.

My lived experiences give me a unique lens to understand how different women experience healthcare. What I share here is rooted in science, but also softness. This space was born out of my own struggles — with acne, hormonal chaos, anxiety, and the quiet need to feel seen.

This is a platform where we talk about what’s often brushed under the rug — reproductive health, hormones, fertility fears, contraception confusion, skin stories, and body trust. I want women to feel informed and empowered, not overwhelmed. Whether you’re reading for guidance, comfort, or curiosity — I’m here for it.
